Aromatherapy for Palliative Care and Bereavement

Welcome to this healing program designed to help you as a practitioner in supporting your clients through transitions and grief.

This unique 55-hour program is lead by Jonathan Benevides, Markia Fleri and Margo Fletcher, RA®.

Throughout this 4 week program, you will learn:

Understand the holistic nature of palliative care — physical, emotional, spiritual and familial dimensions.
Develop compassionate, presence-based care strategies: how to create safe spaces, bear witness, hold space and accompany others with empathy.
Explore the processes of dying and bereavement: preparation, transition, and support for both patient and family.
Recognize the various emotions associated with grief, its forms, and its stages
How the olfactory system can soften the emotions of grief and provide an anchor for support
Understanding of how grief transforms us and how we can companion those grieving
How to support yourself with self-care while working with people experiencing grief.

There is no experience needed to join this program.
