In this module, you will explore the reliance of science on formal methods and social practices to minimize biases, ask meaningful questions, and provide reliable answers. You will learn formal methods employed in medical research and tools to evaluate the quality, importance, and relevance of scientific papers.

In this module, you will:

Explore formal methods used in medical research based on scientific principles.
Understand how these methods influence the design of research trials.
Get simple tools to assess the quality of scientific papers.
Learn how to determine the importance and relevance of research findings.

This module provides 7.5 CE hours and includes 9 lessons.
