In doing so, the process of creating herbal remedies at home is demystified. Students will gain hands-on experience in crafting their own tinctures, infusions, salves and more. To empower students with the tactical, they will gain experience in the following ways:

  • Herbarium Projects - this entails the collection, drying, mounting and development of a corresponding materia medica on the aromatic herb(s).
  • Culinary Container Garden - this involves the planting of a culinary herb in a container garden and then making an extraction of the culinary herb.
