Kathleen Jaggassar, MA, RA™, CCC, RCC, CIMHP

Registered Aromatherapist (RA™) | Integrated Mental Health Practitioner | RCC & RA™ blending clinical counselling with aromatic science

Kathleen Jaggassar brings together expertise in counselling psychology, mental health, professional aromatherapy education, and more than two decades of analytical leadership with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Her work focuses on aromatic neuro-regulation, autonomic resilience, evidence-informed curriculum development, and the responsible use of essential oils.

Kathleen’s clinical specialty is nervous-system regulation. She developed Aromatic Neuro-Somatic Regulation (ANSR), a structured framework that uses precise sensory input and wellness protocols to help people regulate their stress response and widen their window of tolerance. As an educator, she helps students understand the reasoning behind their aromatic choices so they can move beyond general advice and apply essential oils with greater precision and confidence.

Kathleen served as president of the Canadian Alliance of Aromatherapy for more than four years. She provided strategic leadership, oversaw governance and board management, and represented the organization as its primary spokesperson. During her tenure, she helped shift the association’s strategic direction toward the ethical and sustainable use of essential oils. She also led a successful collaboration with the Canadian Federation of Aromatherapists, resulting in a joint governance model that provides equal benefits to members of both associations.

Alongside her clinical and educational work, Kathleen has more than two decades of experience as a senior criminal intelligence analyst and supervisor with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Leading teams in complex data analysis, trend identification, and intelligence reporting shaped the rigor she now brings to wellness education. Her approach is structured, reproducible, and grounded in careful analysis rather than generalities or guesswork.

Kathleen holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and is a Registered Aromatherapist (RA™), Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), and Certified Integrated Mental Health Professional (CIMHP).
